Many of us are not aware whether our body is healthy or not.

No one will actually take the trouble to spend money consulting a doctor about this.

So here's one way to tell!

I've have no idea whether it's true or not as it was one of my friend who told me about it.

Now first, can you guess which part of your body you have to look at?

YOUR NAILS!

You must be wondering right now, how do we exactly tell?

Well, if you look closely at your finger nail [ any single one ], you will find that at the bottom of it there will be a whitish colour thingy with the shape of an arc as the border.
I reckon all of you will be looking at your finger nails right now.

Alright, I shall give you 2 minutes to do so.

HAHAHA.

Right, so from here, scrutinise each and every one and see whether there is a whitish thingy as stated above.

Okay first let me show you an example of a not-so-healthy nail.
This is how it looks like.

You will notice that there is little or no whitish thingy at the bottom of the nail.

Next, an example of a healthy nail.

You will be able to see an obvious whitish thingy with the shape of an arc as the border.

However, you've got to have the whitish thingy on ALL your finger nails to be considered very healthy!

It's okay if you do not have it for all your finger nails cos mine doesn't have them all my finger nails as well! Haha.

To keep yourself healthy, exercise more, drink more water, eat more fruits & vegetables!

Yeah, the same old routine.

Once again, I repeat, I'm not very sure whether this is true but one of my friend told me this so I decided to blog about it!

Received a call from Sherin on Thurs.

Went for Starhub job interview at Haw Par Centre.

Took a cab over, fetched Jeanette&bf on the way.

It was a group interview.

So anyway, took a train to Westmall to meet Isabel&Yulenda.

Had pastamania.

Yulenda ordered Carbonara which she took a million years to finish half of it only!

Ball & I ordered the same.

But I thought that the cheated my money cos there were only a few pieces of prawn on my plate!

& we went separate ways thereafter.

This is the name of the company I worked at yesterday and the day before.

It's actually an advertising company.

I worked as a temp receptionist for 2 days.

The pay is quite good, $9/hour.

Not much work to do.

Just answering calls, booking meeting rooms & attending to walk-in guests.

In fact, it can be considered that they bought my time cos most of the time I was waiting for calls.

My colleague answered a call, her name's Marissa, okay let's call her M & the caller, C.


M : Good afternoon BBDO.
C : Hi, I would like to know whethere there's internship. [ something like that ]
M : Are you calling from school or an agency or?
C : I'm calling from home.


Isn't this guy so dumb? LOL lor! Anyway she told him to send us his resume.

Me : *Searching the namelist* Does the person have an English name?

I got a call from Sherin who offered me a job as a promoter [ give out perfume samples at roadshows etc ] for 1 month.

It's $10/hr!

If they further confirm that they're hiring me, I'll be working for 8-9 hours per day, 4-5 days a week.

So if let's say I work 8 hours per day and 4days a week, I'll get $320 a week.

Times 4 weeks it'll be at least $1280!

& that's the very least!

IM SO HAPPY!:D

But there're some requirements though.
Like, gotta be S size or between S-M size at least blah blah blah.

Today was basically a field trip to URA Building --> Ann Siang Road.

Woke up pretty early today.

Viewing of condo at somewhere near Cashew?

I don't know the name of the soon-to-be-ready-built condo.

Lunch at some food centre at Bt Panjang.

Went to Aunt's shop to slack awhile cos Mum needed to buy a big tin of biscuits.

After that was over to Hort Park, just opposite Gillman village.

Initially I thought we would be going to Henderson Waves cos on Sat,

Mum : Eh tomorrow papa's company got some things then going to a bridge there?

Me : Huh? Really? Henderson waves ar?

Mum : Yah yah.

Me : Eh, okay lor. I wanna go!

When we reached there, I realised that it wasn't Henderson Waves that we're heading to but was unsure where we were going.

So, it was merely following my parents & taking some images of beautiful things around.

Nice stairs? There's a mini pond at the bottom of it. Didn't manage to get a show cos my parents were "strolling" way too fast!

We could design our own paperweight there, and so we did.

Spend quite some time there before heading to the tent cos everyone had to be gathered there.

So, there food & games there were all for free.

There were popcorn, candy floss, coke & mineral water, cakes & pastries, ice-cream, sandwiches, WWi or isit Wii? , "tattoo-painting" on your hand, beat the score- chapteh [ is this how you spell it? ] , hula hoop, & you could even have your name carved using wires with a chain for you to hang it on!

So my dad was one of the 4 people chosen to be a group leader.

He had to pick people to be in his team.

I didn't join his team though, cos I wasn't in my "right gear" to play games.
Just sat & watch.

He chose lots of chilldren.

They didn't win anything though.

I didn't bother to take pictures of the event but I'd say it's a really sucussful one, excluding their catered buffet dinner.
